The blade is made of surgical steel material number 1.4116, material designation AISI 440A, Rockwell hardness 54-55 HRC. with a walnut handle.
The blade is engineered with the shape of each individual named mountain on the lower blade and the name of the corresponding mountain and its height on the upper part with the Matterhorn the most well known at its helm.
