The blades are ground by hand by a small family business in Switzerland and the attention to detail is fabulous with the Mountain ranges ground according to height and shape and the Mountains are named and heights given on the blade
The blade is made from rust free Rockwell-Steel and hardened to 54-55 HRC and are ultra sharp and must be treat with respect
The handle is made from Walnut Rosewood and it is advisable to wash the Knife by hand
We have chosen this Knife as it features the Mont Blanc which is so well loved and known around the world
If you love the Mountains you will love the crusty French Baguettes and know they are difficult to cut but this knife just flies through !!
